A neighbor gifted us black walnut seedlings he dug up from his yard — we planted them along the East side of the end of the farm path. Another twenty years, and we’ll have some more big walnuts lining the path!

Anya removed the husks & gave these a spin in a bucket of water with a paint stirrer drill attachment. Now they’re laying out in the sun to dry.

There are black walnut trees all over the farm — we should have loads of walnuts this year since we managed to get a cartload of walnuts from the back woods last time.
